LCI Talks to Arts Schools Network Conference

Today I had the honor of addressing the Arts School Network’s annual conference, held this year in Florida. (Alas, I spoke via Skype, so I wasn’t able to enjoy the Sunshine State’s weather.) ASN is a professional association of arts school leaders, with over 300 members worldwide, so this was a great opportunity for me to engage with a large gathering of arts educators. The organization’s executive director, Kristy Callaway, asked me to talk about Lincoln Center Institute’s (LCI’s) imagination initiatives.

Global Student Entrepreneur Awards Finals on November 17-19

Lincoln Center Institute (LCI) believes, as we state in Findings of the Imagination Conversations, that hands-on projects and real-world challenges ignite students’ imaginations. The nonprofit Entrepreneurs’ Organization understands this, too. It produces the annual Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), which encourage young people to do innovative work. The 2011 GSEA Global Finals will take place at the New York Stock Exchange on November 17-19, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Imagination Conversation Report: Metropolitan Group, Oregon
